Brooks Houck’s trial for four counts of felony theft will be held in Bowling Green, according to a judge’s order filed in the case Thursday.
The location has been the subject of extended debate between prosecutors and the defense, who seemed to agree only that a fair trial could not be held in Nelson County because of intense media coverage of the Crystal Rogers disappearance.
Houck is Rogers’ former boyfriend and a named suspect in her July 2015 disappearance.
