Clydesdales draw a heavy crowd

Thursday afternoon there was an exodus from the Kentucky Bourbon Festival grounds when people heard the sirens and saw the strobe lights.

The Clydesdales were coming!

Even before those signals, crowds lined Fifth Street to get a look at the famous Budweiser draft horses pulling a big red beer wagon with two drivers and a Dalmatian riding in the box.

The Masses also thronged the horses at Old Talbott Tavern on Court Square when they stopped to unload wooden crates, re-enacting an old-time beer delivery.
