    Bill and Mary Alice Cecil, Bardstown, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Jan, 7. They were married Jan. 7, 1961, at St. Thomas Church with the Rev, George O’Bryan officiating.
    They have six children, Joan Douglas, New Haven, Rod Cecil, Bardstown, Jeff Cecil, Cox’s Creek, John Cecil, Tenn., and Angie Reid and Cindy Derringer, both of Bardstown; and 13 grandchildren.
    A Mass will be at 1 p.m. May 14 at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with a reception following at KC Hall.
