After being attacked by two dogs, a Bardstown woman was transferred to Flaget Memorial Hospital Wednesday to treat several dog bites.

EMS and Bardstown Police were dispatched to the home of Jenny Curtsinger, 111 Sunset Drive, shortly before noon after a call for help, Nelson County Assistant Dog Warden Jon Ryan said.

“Two boxers, one male, one female boxer, turned on the owner while she was playing with a smaller pup that she owned,” Ryan said. The dogs bit her several times.
