Teens arrested for burglary of New Haven home

Weapons, prescription medication stolen

Two Bardstown men were arrested over the weekend for a burglary on High Street in New Haven.


According to uniform citations from New Haven police, Shandon Jerome “Gotti” Tonge and Jared H. “Sparky” Sparkman, both 18, were arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly entering a residence at 463 High Street, taking a .22-caliber rifle, a machete, and a hunting knife.

The burglary occurred at around 9 p.m. Saturday, according to the citations.

The two men also allegedly took three prescriptions from the home.
