Three were arrested Wednesday during a drug bust at 208 E. O’Bryan Ave. in Bardstown.

According to a press release from the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, the force had received numerous complaints of suspected drug trafficking at the residence, and initiated an investigation.

On Wednesday, the Task Force and the BPD Flex Team executed a search warrant at the home.

As officers entered the side door, Jordan Girdley fled out the front, where he was apprehended by BPD detectives, according to the release.
Girdley has two prior convictions in Nelson County for trafficking in cocaine, and had an active indictment warrant for trafficking in cocaine, a parole absconder warrant, and a flagrant non-support warrant, according to police.

A bag containing 13 individually wrapped rocks of crack cocaine were reportedly found in Girdley’s pocket during his arrest.

Inside the home, officers found cocaine, pills, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The tenants, Gary Wayne Maddox and Debra Lynn Wampler, were also arrested.

Maddox has two prior convictions in Nelson County for felony trafficking in controlled substances within 1,000 yards of a school, and was convicted of felony trafficking in 2005 as well.

Wampler pled guilty to felony possession of a controlled substance in 2013, and is currently in diversion.

The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are expected.
