Standard seeking fathers and sons who look the same

-A A +A

The Kentucky Standard is looking for fathers and sons who bear an uncanny resemblance. Do you have your own little “Mini Man” right by your side? If so, this contest is for you.

The Father/Son Look-Alike Contest presented by The Kentucky Standard and sponsored by Marshall’s Jewelers will run through today. The winners will appear in the June 17 issue of The Kentucky Standard.

The father and son can be any age now and in the photos. They can be in the same photo or each can be in separate photos. The photos can show each at any age. We’re just looking for something that reflects their resemblance. To be eligible, you must submit the photos by 5 p.m. today. The Kentucky Standard and Marshall’s Jewelers staffs will look over the entries and pick the father and son who are the closest match. All entries, including the winners, will publish on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 17 edition of The Kentucky Standard. The winning father-son will each receive an engraved money clip with cash from Marshall’s Jewelers.

To enter the contest, e-mail your entry to lsaunders@kystandard.com. Put “Look Alike Contest” in the subject line of your e-mail. Bring your entry to our office today at 110 W. Stephen Foster Ave. in Bardstown. Office hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday or you can drop your entry in a sealed envelope in the drop box to the right of the door after normal business hours. Be sure to include full names and contact information, including phone numbers, with your photo(s).

Standard Communications employees and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

Deadline for entries is 5 p.m. today.
