Bloomfield Second Baptist Church anniversary

Bloomfield Second Baptist Church along with the Rev. Joseph Marshall, will celebrate its 150th anniversary on Aug. 5. All members and friends are invited. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m., followed by services at 11:15 a.m. The Rev. McPhearson and Sweet Leaf Baptist Church of Louisville will be the guests. Dinner will be served.

St. Gregory blood drive

There is an emergency blood shortage, especially type O. Help save a life by donating blood at the Red Cross blood drive at the St. Gregory Parish Community Center 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5. Go to www.redcrossblood.org to make an appointment.

Community Biblwdy — Bardstown Women’s Day Class

It is time to register for the Bardstown Community Bible Study Women’s Day Class of 2018-19. CBS is a non-denominational study where individuals meet to be united in God’s Word. The class meets Thursdays 9:15-11:15 a.m. beginning Aug. 16 at Parkway Baptist Church. There are children’s and youth ministry programs for infants through homeschool-aged students. clothes closet

The Bardstown Baptist Church Clothes Closet is open 10 a.m.-noon on Wednesdays in the Old Parsonage adjacent to the church and staffed by church volunteers. Clothing for the entire family is available at no cost. Contact the church office at 348-3866 for additional information or questions.

First Baptist Church food pantry

First Baptist Church of Bardstown food pantry is open every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon.
