Gospel music celebration

The annual gospel music celebration sponsored by Jackson Hills General Baptist Church, 810 Clarks Lane, (located off Ky. 44) Shepherdsville, will be July 22, at 10 a.m. There will be various groups of singers. Van Buren Baptist Church archery program

Van Buren Baptist Church starting an archery program for boys and girls 10-15 years old. Sessions are July 8 and 22; Aug. 5 and 19; Sept. 2, 16 and 30, and Oct. 14 until completed. The program is a nondenominational outreach that shares the gospel of Jesus through archery. Parent/guardians are welcome to stay. Lunch is provided. Food pantry

First Baptist Church of Bardstown food pantry is open the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon.

Community Bible Study

It is time to register for the Bardstown Community Bible Study Women’s Day Class of 2017-18. Whether you have extensive Bible study experience or have never opened a Bible, CBS is a non-denominational study to meet to be united in God’s word. The study will include the books of Mark, 1 and 2 Timothy, and Titus. The class meets Thursdays 9:15-11:15 a.m. at Parkway Baptist Church starting Aug. 17. There are Children’s and Youth Ministry programs for infants through home-school aged students.
