A press conference will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Bardstown City Council Chambers on Xavier Drive regarding the administrative hearing on Bardstown Police Officer Nick Houck.

On Thursday, Bardstown City Attorney Tim Butler confirmed in an interview with The Kentucky Standard that an administrative hearing was held Thursday concerning the status of Houck.

Bardstown Mayor John Royalty was present for the hearing.

Butler said the meeting lasted from about 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with about a 10-minute break.

Houck has been suspended without pay since Sept. 24 and was initially suspended with pay beginning on Sept. 9. Houck was hired and sworn in on Sept. 25, 2006.

Houck is the brother of Brooks Houck, who was the live-in boyfriend of Crystal Rogers, a missing Bardstown mother of five who was reportedly last seen July 3.
