Paul G. “Pete” Draper Sr., 67, Bardstown, died Friday, March 2, 2012, at his residence.  He was born Aug. 25, 1944, in Washington, D.C., a retired employee of Salt River Electric, member of I.B.E.W., and Botland Christian Church, and an avid offshore fisherman and hunter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James F. Draper and Martha Sallee; and his stepfather, Robert “Bob” Sallee.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Draper; two sons, Paul (Sherry) Draper Jr., Bardstown, and Jamie (Melanie) Draper, Willisburg; a stepson, Greg (Emily) Clemens, Louisville; a stepdaughter, Carrie (Andy) Lopotosky, Traverse City, Mich.; nine grandchildren; a great-grandson; two brothers, Robert “Bob” Sallee Jr., and David Sallee, Bardstown; and a sister, Christine Burnham, Bardstown.
The funeral was 11 a.m. Monday at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Brother Jerry Bennett officiated.
Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County or Botland Christian Church.
