Oscar Getz Museum plans to debut new exhibit Saturday

-A A +A
By Kacie Goode

The Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History will reopen to the public Saturday with a new exhibit on Prohibition in Kentucky. The unveiling has been long awaited since the museum closed its doors in February to install the exhibit and undergo a facelift.

The project started last October when the Frazier History Museum in Louisville contacted the museum about its Spirits of the Bluegrass — Prohibition and Kentucky exhibit, which it was taking down. They asked the museum if they would like to install the exhibit in Bardstown, so officials traveled to Louisville to take a look.
