An Elizabethtown man was listed in critical condition at University of Louisville Hospital after crashing his motorcycle Saturday night.
According to a press release from the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 8 p.m. in the 900 block of Samuels Road. Dorian C. Floyd, 41, was located in a wood embankment near his wrecked 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle, which was on its side against a guardrail.
According to the release, Floyd was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital and then flown to Louisville for his injuries.
Alcohol and speed are believed to be a factor in the accident, which is under investigation by Deputy Levi Preston. Nelson County EMS, Fire and Rescue and AirMethods assisted in the crash.
