Letter: Monument will be to the ones who kept us free

-A A +A

To the editor,

Dr. Harry Spalding in World War II became a doctor. He delivered my three children and was my wife’s doctor. Before that, I got arrested in his yard and was charged for alcohol intoxication and criminal trespassing. I was picking up sticks out of his yard.

Dr. Harry and my father served in World War II. We are going to put up a monument to dedicate it to the ones that kept us free.

JB and David O’Bryan are entombed inside of the USS Arizona.

Rest in peace.

Go Navy.

Edward O’Bryan
