Houck employee indicted for perjury

UPDATE: 6:40 p.m.  A press release from the Nelson County Sheriff's Office stated Danny L. Singleton was arrested by Nelson County Sheriff Deputies Wednesday, and is currently lodged in the Nelson County Jail after 38 counts of perjury in reference to the investigation into Crystal Rogers' disappearance. The press release states the office will make no further comments in regards to Singleton or the Rogers investigation at this time. 

The Nelson County Sheriff's Office has just released this statement:

Wednesday, Danny L. Singleton, an employee of Brooks Houck, has been indicted for 38 counts of perjury in the first degree by the Nelson County Grand Jury. The counts allege the perjury occurred during a Grand Jury testimony given previously. All persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent under Kentucky law until proven guilty in court.

Singleton is mentioned in an interrogation video of Brooks Houck by Nelson County Sheriff's Detective Jon Snow, dated July 8. It is stated in the video that Singleton called Houck early on Saturday morning, July 4 - the day after Rogers was last reportedly seen. The video can be seen here at beginning at the 17:14 minute mark.
