Head-on collision entraps driver, injures four on W. Stephen Foster

 Four were injured and one taken to Louisville following a head-on collision Tuesday evening.


Bardstown firefighters, Bardstown Police and Nelson County EMS responded to the scene on West Stephen Foster Avenue around 5:30 p.m.

According to Officer David Culler, one vehicle was traveling east on West Stephen Foster when he crossed over into oncoming traffic and collided with a second vehicle.

The driver of the second vehicle was entrapped and once freed, was transported to University Hospital in Louisville via Nelson County EMS for leg trauma.

Two juveniles inside the vehicle were transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital by EMS.

The driver of the first vehicle refused treatment by EMS and self-transported to Flaget.
