Bardstown City Council

Bardstown City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, in the council chambers.


The next public Anatok meeting will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the Old Courthouse.

Human Rights Commission

The Bardstown-Nelson County Human Rights Commission has a new contact phone number. The number (502) 348-5947, ext. 2206 will reach the office of Bardstown’s City Clerk. She will contact us and we will contact you as soon as possible.

Feeding America Food Distribution

The Feeding America Food Distribution will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the Nelson County Fairgrounds for anyone low-income and in need. Bring proof of residence, number in your household and identification.

Honor flight kickoff ceremony

A honor flight kickoff ceremony will be 4-6 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at the National Guard Armory in Bardstown. Learn more about the upcoming Honor Flight Bluegrass Chapter for the 50th Anniversary of the return of Battery C from Vietnam months after an attack on Firebase Tomahawk. Nelson County Retired Teachers

The Nelson County Retired Teachers will meet at noon Thursday, April 25, at Maywood Country Club.

Hiding in Plain Sight

Nelson County Schools Family Resource and Youth Services Centers will host "Hiding in Plain Sight" 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at Thomas Nelson High School. Community partners will be available and dinner will be served from 5 to 6 p.m. with the presentation beginning at 6 p.m. All parents and educators of middle and high school students are encouraged to attend as Officer Robert Purdy educates the community about the newest techniques children use to hide drugs, vapes, etc.
