Boston man gets 10 years for sex crimes

A Boston man was sentenced last week to a total of 10 years in prison for a series of sex-related crimes and has been designated as a lifetime registered sex offender.

According to court documents, Michael Jordan Hicks, 32, was sentenced last Thursday to five years in prison for 11 counts of first-degree sexual abuse and eight counts of third-degree sodomy, and five years in prison for nine counts of third-degree rape and 11 counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor, for a total of 10 years combined.
