    Flaget charity golf scramble

    The Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation will host its third annual golf scramble on Friday at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood. Corporate and individual registrations are available for the event. Last year’s tournament raised more than $33,000 to support mission and outreach programs at Flaget Memorial Hospital. Registration and lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. Golf will start with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. For sponsorship information or to register for the event, call 502-350-5058.

    Bardstown Tigers girls’ basketball camp

    Bardstown coach Amber Courtney is hosting her inaugural Lady Tiger Basketball Camp June 15-18 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the BHS gym. The camp is open to girls in grades K-8 for the 2015-16 school year. Cost $35 per camper, with discounts of $60 for two kids from the same household or $90 for three.     Soccer clinics
    Bardstown High Girls Soccer Coach Martin Bodkin, a National “C” and Youth Licensed Coach, will conduct soccer clinics for players ages 7-14. The clinic will focus on improving fundamental skills, as well as increasing technical ability and playing in small-sided games. Clinics will run 9 a.m.-noon June 8-12, June 15-19, and June 21-25.     The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber Golf Classic is June 6, at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood. Applications are being accepted from teams and individuals. To register, call 348-9545. Hole sponsorships are available at $150 each.

    Signups are underway for adult sports leagues at Culvertown Ballpark. The co-ed kickball league will play on Tuesday nights starting June 2, while the men’s softball league is on Thursday nights starting June 4. Team representatives are asked to attend a league meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the ballpark. To sign up or if you have questions, call 549-3451.

    NWTF Catfish Roundup
    The Central Kentucky Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Foundation is hosting a catfish roundup for kids 16 and younger on Saturday, June 6. The event is 7 a.m.-noon at Boone Farms in New Hope. All expenses are paid, lunch is provided. Anglers are asked to bring chairs and poles. Participants must register by May 28. Call 331-1209 or 349-3502 with questions.
