PREP SPORTS ROUNDUP: Banshees rally from behind for win

Bethlehem extended its win streak over its 19th District girls’ soccer rivals to six matches Tuesday night, but the Banshees had to come from behind to do it.

Host Thomas Nelson grabbed the lead off Shay Hartman’s goal off a Haleigh Reiter assist, putting the defending region champs on their heels.

But the Banshees rallied from behind with Abigail Proctor’s goal in the 53rd minute to knot the score at 1-1. Then, with 15 minutes left, Proctor fed Maddie Sparks, who put in the eventual game-winner.
