ARCHERY: Sedlatschek brings home girls state title

LEXINGTON — Coaches are always hoping that their athletes will peak during postseason play.

That’s what Bethlehem archer Kristen Sedlatschek did on Friday, posting her personal best score of 294, good enough to be crowned the 2017 Kentucky girls’ individual champion.

Even a few hours after returning to her home in Lebanon Junction, she admits that it was a surreal feeling when she realized what she had accomplished.
