19th DISTRICT SOFTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP: WC's big innings doom Bethlehem's title hopes

Despite three different players homering in Friday’s 19th District softball championship, Bethlehem was unable to completely come back from a devastating six-run first inning by Washington County in falling 14-7.

The win by the Commanders (15-14) marked the second straight over the Banshees (15-14) in the title game. Both teams advance to the 5th Region tournament at Central Hardin, which starts Monday. Draws were Saturday morning.
