The 411-acre farm of Mr. and Mrs. O.J. Ballard, in the Manton section of Nelson County, sold at public auction Saturday for a total price of $87,800.
Mack Holt, of the Cox’s Creek area, purchased the home tract of 326 acres and the 11-room Colonial residence, and tract No. 3, which consists of 47 acres, for $74,300.
David Cassell, son-in-law of Hinkle Greenwell, Louisville, formerly of Bardstown, bought tract No. 2, consisting of 38 acres, for $13,500. It contains barns and outbuildings.
