Neighbors speak out against Woodlawn development

Not one resident who attended the public hearing Tuesday on the proposed redevelopment of the Woodlawn Springs golf course spoke in favor of it.

The owners’ lawyer, Jim Willett, stood alone as members of the homeowners association and others in the audience at Bardstown High School took the mics to plead with the Planning Commission not to let Chris Osborne and his family convert the 18-hole course into residential building lots.

After four hours of testimony, the commissioners decided not to decide until another night.
