Grimes rallies Democrats at Old Talbott Tavern

One way to end gridlock in Washington is to end Mitch McConnell’s long Senate career, Alison Lundergan Grimes said during a campaign visit to Bardstown Wednesday morning.

Speaking at a Democratic rally at Old Talbott Tavern, the Senate candidate talked about the need for a less political approach to government.

The Nov. 4 election, she said, “is not about partisan control” of the Senate, but about “two very different visions” for the country.
