    George Snellen, 58, New Market, Ala., died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Ala. He was born Sept. 17, 1949. He was employed with Raytheon. Survivors include his wife, Marcia Snellen; a son, Tom Snellen, Huntsville, Ala.; a sister, Cathy Ferguson, Louisville; two brothers, David Snellen, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and James Snellen, Hodgenville; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral is 11 a.m. CST Friday at Oakley Baptist Church in New Market, Ala., with Bro. Charles Hammons officiating.

He retired after 30 years of service at Mount Carmel High School, Jackson.

She served in the apostolate of elementary education as teacher and principal in Kentucky and Tennessee for 24 years. In Louisville, she taught at St. John School.     Clarence R. “Pops” Williams, Jr.,80, Raywick, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at Kindred Hospital, Louisville. He was born Oct. 5, 1927, in Marion County. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He served as a sergeant in Graves Registrations in the Quartermaster Corp. He was a Kentucky Colonel and Life Member of the VFW Post No. 5910 in Lebanon. He retired from Owens-Illinois in Bardstown after 21 years of service.He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Ann Williams; his parents, Clarence Richard Williams Sr.
