  • Wedding-Reed-McKinley

    Jessica Hope Reed and Kyle Wayne McKinley, both of Bardstown, were married 4 p.m. May 22, 2010, at Waterford Church of Christ, Taylorsville.
    The bride is the daughter of the late Rebecca Reed and the granddaughter of Dick Reed and the late Mabel Reed.
    The groom is the son of Tammy and Matt Weber, Bardstown, and Carl McKinley, Taylorsville.
    The Rev. Joe Stone officiated the ceremony.
    The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, Emil “Dick” Reed.
    She wore a white A-line spaghetti strapped gown with silver detail.

    Jerry and Kim Maupin, New Haven, announce the engagement of their daughter, Morgan Ashlee Maupin, to Ryan Kevin Gerage, son of Sam Gerage and Leah Gerage, both of Cox’s Creek.
    The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Nelson County High School and a 2010 graduate of St. Catharine College. She is employed as a registered nurse for Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown.
    The groom-elect is a 2005 graduate of Nelson County High School and is currently attending Elizabethtown Community College majoring in accounting. He is employed by Tower Automotive, Bardstown.

    The wedding is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at the home of the bride’s parents’ in Bardstown.
    The reception will follow at Blue Grass Entertainment & Exposition Complex.

Paternal great-grandparents are Dee Paulin, Louisville, and the late Joe Paulin and the late Orpha Davis.

    The baby was welcomed home by two brothers, Austin, 7, and Evan, 1.

Great-grandparents are Dorothy Bradshaw, Lebanon, and the late Kelly Bradshaw, Dean and Betty Skinner, Bardstown, and Marie Boles, Sullivan, Ind.
    The baby was welcomed home by two brothers, Aiden, 4, and Andrew, 2.

  • Anniversary-Mudd

    Leroy “Buddy” and Ann Hamilton Mudd will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary April 15. They were married at Holy Trinity Church, Fredericktown, April 15, 1961.
    They are lifelong residents of the Fredericktown community.
    They have six children, David Mudd, the late Patricia Mudd the late John Mudd, Mary Ann Downs, Sally McLaughlin, and Jenny Neel; and 10 grandchildren.
    A family celebration is planned for a later date.
