Lance and Kathy Fenwick, of Bardstown, announce the birth of a son, Raylan Kole, Dec. 4, 2012, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds and was 19-1/4 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Gary and Peggy Johnson, of Cox’s Creek. Paternal grandparents are Bud and Melissa Fenwick, of Bloomfield.
The baby was welcomed home by two brothers, Cambron, 10, and Landyn, 7.

Jarrod and Jill Benningfield, of Boston, announce the birth of a daughter, Finley Reese, on Dec. 6, 2012, at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville. She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 20 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Julie and Frank Keeter, of Bardstown, and Ronnie and Pattie Dadisman, of Mount Washington.
Paternal grandparents are David and Brenda Benningfield, of New Haven. Great-grandparents are James and Shirley Stone and Aileen Holt, all of Chaplin.
The baby was welcomed home by a brother, Cade, 6, and a sister, Alex, 3.

…Food, hundreds of toys for needy

The mammoth job of making sure every family in Nelson County has a bountiful Christmas dinner is near the wind-up.
Boxes of food — two for each of more than 160 needy families — plus a toy for each boy and girl ages 1-12, suitable for his or her age — will be packed by the Bardstown Kiwanis Club Friday for distribution in time for Christmas.
In all, 600 to 800 children will be remembered.

Kristen and Derick Harris, of Chaplin, announce the birth of a daughter, Peyton Olivia, Oct. 9, 2012, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 19-1/2 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Gayle Graves, of Bardstown, and Steve Graves, of Springfield.
Paternal grandparents are Susan Harris, of Bloomfield, and the late Wayne Harris. Great-grandparents are Barbara and Earnest Metcalf, of Bardstown, Artie Harris, of Bloomfield, and the late Bill Harris, Lula Mae and Leo Graves, of Springfield, and the late Joe and Ruth Elmore.
