  • Crady completes basic military training

    Air Force Airman Zane T. Crady graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

    The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

    Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

    Laura and Adam Ganoe, of Bardstown, announce the birth of a son, Leo Cambron, April 25, 2014, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 inches long.

    Maternal grandparents are Tom and Donna Blincoe, of Bardstown.

    Paternal grandparents are Dan and Brenda Ganoe, of Chester, Va. Great-grandmother is Loretta Curtis, of Louisville.

    The baby was welcomed home by a brother, Luke 8, and two sisters, Kyndal, 10, and Olive, 2.

    Kim Bowling and Jimmy Hardin, of Boston, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kasey Bowling, to Kevin Johnson, son of Ronny and Roxann Johnson, of New Haven.

    The wedding is scheduled for 6 p.m. May 17 at Blue Grass Entertainment and Exposition Complex.

    The bride-elect is the assistant archivist for the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. The groom-elect is a staff accountant with Crowe Horwath.

    The wedding is scheduled for 4 p.m. May 25, at Gallrein Farms in Shelbyville.

    The wedding is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. June 14 at Chuckleberry Winery in Bloomfield.

    Pam Rust, of Boston, announces the engagement of her daughter, Joni Renee Rust, to James Burke Phelps III, son of Jim and Susan Phelps, of Hodgenville.

    The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Gary Rust. She is a speech language pathologist for LaRue County Schools.

    The groom-elect is a middle school teacher for LaRue County Schools.

    The wedding is scheduled for 7 p.m. May 31 at St. Catherine Catholic Church in New Haven.
