    Rebecca Lynn Eason and  David  J. Conway IV were married Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at Alamoana Beach Park, Waikiki, Hawaii.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Eason, Portland, Oregon.
    The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David J. Conway III, Bardstown.
    The Rev. David J. Conway, Pastor of Souls’ Harbor of God performed the ceremony.
    The bride and groom are in the U.S. Navy and stationed in Hawaii.

    David and Sandy Barnett, Bardstown, announce the engagement of their daughter, Tiffanie Mae Barnett, to James Wesley Clark, son of David and Tammy Clark, Cox’s Creek.
    The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Nelson County High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Kentucky. She is employed as a teacher at Nelson County High School, Bardstown.
    The groom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Nelson County High School. He is employed by Mudd’s Body Shop, Springfield.

    Tommy and Shannon Crask, announce the birth of a son, Robert Thomas Jr., Dec. 16, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown. He weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20 inches long.
    Maternal grandparents are Eddie and Rosemary Smith, Bardstown.
    Paternal grandparents are Cliff and Ricki Crask, New Haven. Great-grandparents are the late Nolan and Ruth Masterson, Jane Crask, Woodlawn, and the late Bob Crask.

    Bernie and Angela Ayers, Bardstown, announce the birth of a son, Parker Easton, Dec. 9, 2010, at Norton Suburban Hospital, Louisville. He weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20-1/2 inches long.
    Maternal grandparents are Jody and Doris Goode, Cox’s Creek. Paternal grandparents are Don and Ginger Ayers, New Haven.
    The baby was welcomed home by a brother, Gavin, 3.

    C.P. and Ashley Smith, Bardstown, announce the birth of a daughter, Leigh Talbott Smith, Nov. 30, 2010, at Baptist Hospital East, Louisville. She weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 inches long.
    Maternal grandparents are Allan and Gail Thompson, Bardstown.  Paternal grandparents are Pat and Cecilia Smith, Bardstown. Great-grandmother is Estelle Wimsett.
    The baby was welcomed home by two sisters, Harper, 3, and Sloane, 2.

    The Kentucky Standard went along to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure-Breast Cancer Walk at the riverfront in downtown Louisville. This family walked in honor of breast cancer survivor, Hazel Greenwell. Pictured are Chris Nalley, Tim Tatum, Timmy Higdon, Mary Beth Higdon, David Nalley, Ruthie Akin, Coletta Akin, Airy Ann Tatum, Tammi Nalley, Bobby Brussell, Cathy Nalley, Trevor Tatum, Hazel Greenwell, Erin Greenwell (blue) and Sophie Akin.
