YOUTH SPORTS: BNCYFL comes under fire

The Bardstown-Nelson County Recreation Board suspended two coaches Thursday night during a special-called meeting to discuss the use of an ineligible player during last month’s Bourbon City Bowl invitational tournament.

At issue was the use of Coi Young, a senior at Bardstown High School and a member of the varsity football team, in a U14 tournament game. The tournament serves as a fundraiser for the Bardstown-Nelson County Youth Football League.
