Marsha Denise Mattingly and Charles Edward Miles, both of Bardstown, were married 7 p.m. May 14, 2011, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fredericktown.
The bride is the daughter of Paul and Judy Mattingly, Bardstown. She is employed as a production specialist by American Greetings, Bardstown.
The groom is the son of Gondola Miles, Bardstown, and the late Wemer Miles. He is employed as an electrician by Riggs Electric, Bardstown.
The Revs. Chris Allegra, Curtis Thomas and Dennis Borca officiated the ceremony.
The pews were decorated with white and purple bows. The altar was decorated with white lilies and purple hydrangeas.
The music was performed by Carmel Bowman and Nathan Bowman, and the soloist was Clifton Greenwell.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore a white A-line gown adorned with crystals and a cathedral train.
Her waist-length tiered veil was trimmed with seed and diamond crystals.
The bridal bouquet was a long cascade mixture of white and purple roses and hydrangeas.
The matron-of-honor was Kirn Blanford, Bardstown.
The bridesmaids were Candice Mattingly, Jolie Coulter, and Phyllis Hutchins, all of Bardstown.
They wore long purple, evening-style silk dresses.
They carried hand-tied bouquets of white and purple roses.
The flower girl was Lauren Miles, niece of the groom, Bardstown.
The ring bearer was Nicholas Miles, nephew of the groom, Bardstown.
The best man was Todd Brouillard, Bardstown.
Groomsmen were Jeff Coulter, Bryan Mattingly and John Royalty, all of Bardstown.
The reception was at the Holy Trinity Parish Center, Fredericktown.
Music was performed by the band “AS-IS”, (Clifton Greenwell, Bryan Mattingly, Travis Gaffney and Michael Ruley).
The couple honeymooned in Naples, Florida.
The couple are making their home in Bardstown.
A bridal shower was given by Judy Mattingly, mother of the bride, Kim Blanford, matron-of-honor, and Candice Mattingly, sister-in-law of the bride.
The rehearsal dinner was given at El Jimador by Gondola Miles, mother of the groom.
