The Stephen Foster Story is holding auditions for local talent to participate in two upcoming productions of the 2014 season.

Billy Bass, Media & Development Coordinator with The Stephen Foster Story, said there will be two separate auditions held, one for youth and one for adults.

On Monday, youth auditions for “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” will be held at Bardstown High School from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. This audition is for children ages 6 to 16 and they are looking to cast 20 to 30 kids.

Parents of children wishing to audition need to call the box office at 348-5971 to request audition information and material.

On Saturday, March 1, local adult auditions will be held at Bardstown High School from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be for individuals 17 and older. Bass said these auditions will be primarily for “Stephen Foster the Musical,” but participants will be considered for other performances as well.

Audition information can be found at www.stephenfoster.com under the news banner.

Bass also noted that those auditioning need to bring dance-appropriate attire, as there will be a dance call for both feature and supportive dancers.
