Small campus construction projects on city school’s agenda

A cut in Kentucky Education Reform Act funding for the preschool program at Bardstown City Schools next fiscal year presents a dramatic change to the budget, district Treasurer Pat Hagan told the Bardstown School Board Tuesday.

Because of an error in the enrollment count, KERA overpaid the district for fiscal year 2011-2012, providing it with $602,336 in funding for the early learning program, Board Secretary Tracey Rogers said.
