Search committee narrows fire chief applicants to three

Members of the Bardstown Safety Commission met last night to review applicants for chief of the Bardstown Fire Department.

Bardstown City Council member Bobby Simpson, Roland Williams and Frances Lydian make up part of the search committee, which also includes Assistant City Administrator Larry Green and two members of the fire department, who narrowed it down to three candidates. Bardstown Mayor Bill Sheckles planned to review the candidates Tuesday afternoon.
