Fairfield Second Baptist anniversary
Fairfield Second Baptist Church Pastor’s Choir will celebrate its 42nd anniversary at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. The special guests will be Springfield First Baptist Choir and Danny Overall and Favor Few from Campbranch.
Old Gospel Barn anniversary
Old Gospel Barn, 11286 Louisville Road, will have a 20th anniversary reunion celebration 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. Special guests Carol Royalty, Clyde McKinney, Philip Ingram, The Carneys, Bill Donovan and the Cumbo family. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
Rolling Fork Christian Church Revival
Rolling Fork Christian Church will have its revival and homecoming with Ben Underhill as the evangelist for the week. Underhill is a church Timothy from Rolling Fork Christian. He is a 2003 graduate of LaRue County High and has a bachelor degree from Louisville Bible College. He has been preaching for the past six years and is currently serving the Marengo Christian Church in Marengo, Ind. It starts Sunday at 11 a.m. and runs through Wednesday, Oct. 2, with services starting at 7 p.m. Following Sunday morning worship there will be a potluck meal. Everyone is welcome. Lion of Judah
Lion of Judah Outreach Ministry, 932 Bloomfield Road, offers various 12 step programs and various other material geared personally to individual needs with sessions every Tuesday for those suffering with addictions and those who desire a better life. Bardstown Baptist Church Bicentennial Celebration Book
As part of its bicentennial celebration in 2015, Bardstown Baptist Church is compiling a book about its history. The church is asking the community and members to contribute items that would add to the book. Items may include photos, bulletins, announcements, etc. Make sure your items have names and dates on them. Call the church office at 348-3866 or bring items to the office at 101 W. Brashear. You will be asked to complete a brief form so your item can be easily identified. It will be scanned and returned. The church welcomes your input.
