Be the Man Conference

First Baptist Church of Bardstown will host the Be The Man Conference 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8. Registration is at 8 a.m. This free event for men offers two classes taught by local preachers and a guest speaker, the Rev. Keith Hackett. Songs, worship and fellowship will also be featured. New Beginning VBS

New Beginning Baptist Church will have vacation Bible school 6-8 p.m. on Nov. 7 and Dec. 5 for children ages 5-12. The theme is International Spy Academy. For more information, call (502) 233-1352.

‘Reach Out 2014’

The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church will have revival, themed “Reach Out 2014,” Nov. 9-12. Bible study, children’s activities and a teen youth night will be featured. The main event will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12. All who attend will receive a meal. RSVP to 348-3832 by Nov. 10. At 7 p.m. all are invited to gather in the sanctuary. Bro. Ron Davis will be the guest speaker. Davis is a former pastor of Franklin Crossroads Baptist Church in Cecilia. He is the evangelical minister at Vine Hill Baptist Church near Clermont. Everyone is welcome. Activities and meals are free to those attending. A love offering for the evangelist will be received at each evening service. The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church is 5 miles west of Bardstown off Boston Road (U.S. 62) on Bellwood Road (Ky. 733). Children’s Choir program

Holy Trinity Church in Fredericktown is starting an after-school Children’s Choir program for children in fourth through eighth grades. Rehearsals are 5:30-6:10 p.m. on Wednesdays, with a commitment to sing at Mass at Holy Trinity on the first and third Sundays of every month.
