Loretto Motherhouse concert

Hsing-Yi Tsai, a native of Taiwan, is currently enrolled in the Artist Diploma program at Campbellsville University. She was awarded first place in the 2015-16 MTNA/KMTA Young Artists Piano Competition in Bowling Green. Hsing-Yi will be performing a transcription of J.S. Bach’s famous Chaconne in D Minor for solo violin by Busoni and Chopin’s Piano Sonata No. 2 at Loretto Motherhouse Wednesday, April 12, at 7 p.m. All are welcome. Admission is free.

Easter at Mill Creek Baptist Church

Sisters of Charity of Nazareth seeking volunteers

The Sisters of Charity are seeking missionary volunteers for the following trips: Appalachia (Beattyville) April 18-22, doing local home repairs. Cost for all expenses is $150, including project supplies. Botswana, Africa, August, two-week trip to paint the local village church in Ntlhantlhe and stay with the Sisters while visiting their local ministries. Approximate cost is $3,500 including airfare. Dharuhera, India, October, a two-week trip for women who have experience with children, staying with the Sisters at the girls’ home, Asha Kiran. Approximate cost $2,000 including airfare. Community Bible study

The Community Bible Study Bardstown Women’s class of 2016-17 is a non-denominational study. The study will cover the books of Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers in the Old Testament. The class meets Thursdays 9:15-11:15 a.m. at Parkway Baptist Church. There are children’s and youth ministry programs for infants through home-school aged students.
