When two men came into the Bardstown City Council meeting a couple of weeks ago with guns at their sides, naturally, people were a little anxious.
A 911 call was made and city police officers responded to the scene.
It was determined the men meant no harm and were actually there to prove a point — guns are allowed at City Council meetings.
The Kentucky Constitution allows individuals to openly carry a firearm into most public buildings and private businesses unless otherwise posted they are prohibited.
