Nelson Circuit Court indictments from Nov. 15 2017 (continued)

The following people have been indicted by a Nelson County grand jury and had arraignments set for Dec. 7.

Jacob K. Mattingly, 30, of Bardstown, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana. On or about Aug. 24, 2017, Mattingly unlawfully possessed meth, drug paraphernalia and marijuana. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

James W. Pinkston, 43, of Bardstown, engaging in organized crime-criminal syndicate. On or between Nov. 1, 2016, and Oct. 2, 2017, Pinkston, along with seven or more people, conspired and acted together for the purpose of trafficking in marijuana in Nelson County. Bail was set at $20,000 cash only, plus conditions.

Buechel Lee Adams, 45, of Bardstown, first-degree sodomy, failure to comply with sex offender registry (second or greater offense), first-degree persistent felony offender. Sometime between Sept. 11, 2017, and Sept. 17, 2017, Adams engaged in deviate sexual intercourse with another person who was incapable of consent because she was physically helpless. Adams also failed to complete an address verification form. Adams is a first-degree persistent felony offender, having previously been convicted of failure to comply with sex offender registry and first-degree sexual abuse. Bail was set at $100,000 cash only, plus conditions.

Shawn Allen Johnson, 25, of Chaplin, complicity to theft by unlawful taking. On or about Oct. 31, 2017, Johnson, either acting alone or in concert with another, took a car hauler belonging to another person. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

Collin Dale Hilbert, 21, of Chaplin, complicity to theft by unlawful taking. On or about Oct. 31, 2017, Hilbert, either acting alone or in concert with another, took a car hauler belonging to another person. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.
