Monday collision injures three

 Three were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday in the 6600 Block of New Shepherdsville Road.

According to a press release from the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, a 2011 Ford Escape driven by 52-year-old Connie Ross, of Cox’s Creek, was leaving a store parking lot and attempting to turn east when she pulled into the path of 26-year-old Chad Mattingly, of Bardstown.

Ross suffered head and neck injuries and a passenger in the vehicle suffered injuries to his legs.

Mattingly suffered multiple injuries and a passenger of his vehicle suffered a neck injury.
All parties were wearing seat belts. The injured individuals were taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital by Nelson County EMS. Sgt. Richard Jones was the investigating officer.
