Local students perform with state orchestra

Ellie Simms and Kate Stiles were selected to the Kentucky All State Symphony Orchestra and performed Saturday at the Kentucky Center for the Arts.  Being selected to All State Orchestra is a competitive process. Stiles and Simms were chosen through auditions, competing among 300 fellow high school musicians across the state. Both are students of Dr. Terry Durbin, professor at the University of Louisville School of Music, and are students at Bethlehem High School. Stiles, a freshman, is the daughter of Matt and Jeanie Stiles.
