Letter: This is pure madness

-A A +A

Thoughts and prayers are appreciated, but much more must be done about the mass killings happening in our country. People of faith value each and every human life. There are various problems in our society today including bullying, anger and mental health diseases that need to be addressed. The availability of guns is also part of the problem. America’s most popular weapon – the AR-15 style rifle – was there at an elementary school in Newton, Conn., an Orlando nightclub, a Las Vegas concert, a Texas church and a high school in Parkland, Fla.
