Joseph Andrew “J.A.” Boone Jr.  77, New Haven, died Friday Jan. 27, 2012, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Andrew and Mary Annie Hagan Boone.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Joyce Marie Thompson Boone; three sons, Kevin Boone, Bradfordsville, Timmy Boone and Neal Boone, both of New Haven; five daughters, Dianne Chesser, Lesia Hillard and Elaine Burba, Bardstown; Donna Salsman, Buffalo, and Janice Shipp, Campbellsville.
