When I was growing up, my mom would take my younger sister and me to a local ice cream shop at least once a week. Every week she would let me pick out my favorite combination of flavors and toppings.
One scoop of Chocolate Dream, which was filled with crunchy bits of chocolate-covered pretzels and fudge swirls. One scoop of Cotton Candy, a blue and pink concoction, with chunks of bubble gum mixed throughout.
Then I would ask for a sloppy scoop of raspberries and a pile of gummy bears.
