Conservation contest winners to be named Feb. 23

The Nelson County Conservation District will hold its annual awards meeting 7 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Civic Center, in Bardstown. The Conservation District Art and Writing winners will be announced and awards will be presented to all school and county winners. Schools with 100 percent participation will also be recognized. Awards will also be presented to our 2011 Master Conservationist and 2011 Outstanding Cooperator. Refreshments will be served.
