Nelson County Dispatch addressed concerns over mapping irregularities within the City of Bardstown during the Bardstown City Council meeting Tuesday night.
Joe Mattingly, mapping consultant for the Nelson County Dispatch Board, said most of the issues center around finding certain locations within Bardstown. New law enforcement is typically thrown off because of discrepancies between different addresses in the city.
Inconsistent addressing of unnamed roads also creates issues for individuals using a GPS, since it can’t locate many addresses.
