-A A +A

A native of Bardstown has been shot and killed, and a Campbellsville woman has been arrested and charged with his murder. According to the Kentucky State Police, KSP dispatch received a call Monday evening from the Marion County Sheriff's Department regarding the discovery of a deceased male inside a residence at 100 Lucas Lane in St. Francis. The man, identified as 48-year-old Timothy W. Hahn, of St. Francis, appeared to have died from multiple gunshot wounds, say police. According to his obituary released by the Barlow Funeral Home, Hahn was born in Bardstown and was a former employee of Ice's Produce.

On Monday evening, 33-year-old Brandy N. Roth, of Campbellsville, was arrested at the Marion County Jail and charged with his murder. KSP Detective Clint Walker discovered that Roth had made statements to a witness about shooting Hahn, her boyfriend. That information led investigators to find Roth in the Marion County Jail, where she had been lodged on unrelated charges earlier on Monday. An autopsy was scheduled for today at the State Medical Examiner's office. The investigation is ongoing.
