Bardstown’s newest assisted living facility nears completion

Final preparations are being made at Maywood Senior Living, a renewed assisted living facility for seniors in the Bardstown area.  The building is now owned by Patrick Coomes, Founder of Senior Solutions and Consulting of Louisville. It features an open living room, dining room and kitchen with 12 private suites, each with an attached bathroom. The residence offers a bright sunny atmosphere with a caring staff where seniors are made to feel “right at home.” The interior is designed to encourage socialization and group activities although each resident is allowed to bring their own suite furnishings, making their rooms “theirs.”

Maywood offers a life balance of personal identity and integrity and personal services and security. 

“The casual-living environment is a unique option, perfect for seniors who need day-to-day support and companionship. In early 2012, the building was completely renovated and is now ready for tours as the staff prepares for residents to move in. The renovations include all new furniture, appliances and carpeting, fresh paint and additional professional updates. Maywood Senior Living will have a staff of about 12 employees overseen by recently appointed manager, Rhonda Hutchins of Bardstown. Other open positions include care givers, cleaners, a cook and a few general staff workers.
