American Legion Post hosts its annual Christmas Basket Program

-A A +A

For the sixth year Old Kentucky Home Post 121, American Legion, prepared more than 580 large food baskets (two per family) so about 300 families could have a brighter holiday season. Similar to prior years, patrons from Wal-Mart, Kroger and Save-A-Lot combined with large food products received from the Bardstown schools and cash donations from a very small number of business and fraternal groups, permitted Post members and companions to prepare this substantial gift to so many of our less fortunate neighbors.
