Three-quarters of residents and businesses that get their electricity from the City of Bardstown were without power for two hours Wednesday night because of the severe storm that swept through the county.
Jeff Mills, the city’s electrical engineer and supervisor, said Thursday morning that about 3,000 were without service between about 10 p.m. and a little after midnight.
“We lost a transmission line for the City of Bardstown from KU,” he said.
